The Tribunal has adopted a Procedural Calendar which provides that the merits of the TAFTA Claim
will be heard on 18 November to 29 November 2019.
If the junta hold an election in February 2019, then they can be happy that the TAFTA claim will only proceed after they're gone. That could give them less reason to settle. Settle now and get some bad publicity, or wait it out and let the civilian government deal with the consequences.
Though there's a good chance they plan to delay the elections again, in which case, they'll have to deal with the issue of TAFTA.
