Ensuring Restricted Product Is Only Sold To Legal Age Patrons
This module provides real time validation of age matching the individual against official identification. This process mimics the retail verification process where a cashier reviews ID and compares it to the patron when managing purchase of a restricted product.
The solution can be incorporated into a Kiosk where a video camera authenticates the individual.
A valid ID ensuring the required age criteria is met.
“Once credentials have been verified”, the patron is cleared to purchase the approved products or services provided the patron remains within view of the camera until the purchase is complete ensuring the validated patron is also the purchaser.

Products can be offered in locations without requiring supervised labour support
Time stamp and a verified purchaser’s name is stored in a database to assist with confirmation for jurisdictional requirements. For winning lottery tickets, this provides the ability to confirm the patron who purchased the ticket
New products can be added which may require more patron interaction for the transaction to be completed • No patron registration or database is required to use the face recognition matching process
Privacy is not an issue as the information is released as soon as the patron’s transaction is complete
