Sherlock Bay Nickle, was first discovered 1973 by a group called Australian Inland Exploration, shallow high tonnage NI of around .5%. Came with an ace of being mined, when the principals Texas Gulf Sulphide flew out from America, and the only decision was on what to call the mines name. Like SDL though a few months later some of the chief directors were killed in a plane crash, so project went on hold, then PON crashed and was no longer considered viable. This find has been to held off and on by various companies over the years, the most notable Sherlock Bay Nickle back in the early 2000s. JFYI .
