Yes the Wet Season from Hell is upon us at a very critical time in the development of Buru .
Just as Buru. was about to begin the transition to a proper oil production business the weather gods have hit us with mighty statistically unlikely blow .
The announcement said that probably another 6 weeks before Quads can use the track , 100 + days shut in .
I am glad they have not been spooked by this WET , Wet Season and have not made a knee jerk commitment for a pipeline that would in all probability be a very low return investment .
I am happy to lay a bet ( let say a bottle or two of Glenfidich ) that the track is closed next Wet Season for less than 7 days due to weather .
