PIO may be in discussions with Lepidico on the lepidolite however from the Stage 1 pit there is not a lot of lepidolite. All the cross sections that the company has announced suggest that the lepidolite is either at depth below the Stage 1 pit or along strike.
In my opinion the capital costs to generate a concentrate would be too high based on what is in the Stage 1 pit, therefore the product that PIO may sell from the pit is raw material...given the grades that type of material can't be transported very far.
Also Lepidico has an exclusive agreement with Lithium Australia for the use of the Lepidico's L-Max process in WA.
