The way i read the below paragraph is that an Australian financial services institution is close to signing a deal, however i do not believe it is a bank as they mentioned this deal will allow advances in commercial discussions with banks. Therefore i think any big bank deal is a while off yet. IMO
I would put money on this financial services deal to be another JMP securities type deal with low revenue and will be talked up as a necessary step to sign larger deals. therefore my hope of a big deal prior to a CR is fading.
