Nice concept Bluefox but completely irrelevant. If your lake is big enough you don't need bores - you just need low risk, low capex, low opex trenches.
AMN may as well take the slightly cheaper option and dig more kms but shallow. Flows suggest extraction won't be an issue either way.
I'm not a hydrogeologist like you obviously are... but bores remain unproven, trenching is real, and our lake is bigger than yours
