Come off it guys - really for goodness sake

Lngl is an upstart company - a startup in the world controlled by large companies.

Surely you must know that the big boys wlll not take kindly to our arrogance. Every customer we look at will be told when they go to discuss a similar deal with the big boys that we are a startup with no chance and to sign with us will be the end of your career. They will say that things like “we are only a few people in an office with no track record of delivering a project”. It does not matter that these people delivered the goods when working at the big boys - it only matters what lngl has done.

Further, any talent we hire will have been forced out of their job with the big boys. Forced out because of a lack of success in playing the political game inside those companies. Now they are playing the same game against the people they already lost against.

Please don’t tell me you did not already know this. Please.

Now Souki as a first mover, managed to get a startup to FID. But he had the vision to be a first mover. He is a highly Charismatic figure who is also got his problems with his second effort. We are not a first mover we are the in the second wave. We have no true entrepreneur at the helm.

Next of all we have a technology which has no operating plant. Yes we have a guarantee of performance from outlet constructor. But the big boys will tell our customers they are gambling on an unproven technology - another career limiting move.

This all means that getting customers to sign is not easy. And others are finding it tough also. The customers no longer believe they should be bothered with a long term agreement. And some are offering deals where they don’t have to. Again we are up against it

Now does all this make me a GV fan. No it does not. I doubted he was the right guy for the job from the start. Probably a boring company man who needs the Chevron name to get anything done. But keep in mind that what he is expected to do is like moving a mountain. Mostly it’s not the people but the situation we are up against.

Finally. Nobody is a Massiah. Joe is not one and neither is anybody else. If our company is billing him as one they are setting him up to fail. My hope is that he bring bags sone much needed selling skills. If a sale is not possible because of the situation he can’t sell.

LNGL is a seculative investment. A low chance of a big reward’. Keep that in mind. If you don’t like it Then go elsewhere. If you have not realized this then time to think again.
