I took my local council to court a few years back and found a lot of information on here. My lawyer referred me to it. There was a function where you could find previous cases that relied upon a particular act, which may have set a precedent. I think the function was called "note up", or something similar.
The website has since changed and I'm not sure how to use it, or exactly which act we should be looking through.
