FNP has recently opened new manufacturing plants to increase production in a number of their product categories. They have also recently sold off some property assets ($75 mil?) to reduce debt levels.

They have had strong growth in revenues with recent guidance being upgraded (again) to $380 mil.

They have been acquiring other companies that complement their "healthy living" image and will release a hell of a lot more new products in the next half, having done something similar this last half gone. But with any new product release there is a time frame needed to bring up sales.

Management is working hard to bring up profits (like the new processing plants) and we should start to see the benefits from this next report. As this report says, there are costs that have impacted the result but are one-off due to the manufacturing and storage movements in the period.

The other thing to know is that this company is majority owned by the Perich family and so can be a little volatile at times with so few shares available to trade, but overall since inception if you look at the charts, they are quite beautiful. A few times in the last few years (once recently when we hit our high) we have quite literally ran out of shares for sale on market. ie the sell line was empty. Always good for a laugh.

I personally don't see any reason why we would see a CR or anything like that for funding, we have cash and money coming in from the sale of asset. FNP is also already promoting the Australia's Own brand overseas, the costs of which are included in this report as well.
