It doesn’t cost a lot of money to close down a company. MG made an estimate of around $27m to include legal expenses. If settlement takes place within this year, committed cost will be much less. I think ACCC court action will have to complete first before class action can commence. S&G not suing directors of MG and also have shorter time frame on class action claim. Will be interesting which class action will be allowed to proceed. Only one will likely go to trial.
