Steve, if you are only 20 you will have plenty of time to recover. Many, in fact , most people lose a hell of a lot in the market and learn the hard way. Losses are how you learn as horrible as it seems in the short term.
If you have only lost savings, and not gone into debt to invest in this, then that's a small win. Many people age 20 are up to their eye balls in credit card debt and car loans... If you're not you are still doing better than them.
However, you will only learn if you stop blaming the downrampers and making excuses. This was always a speculative exploration play. This may well recover, but it might not and you should be prepared for both. Confirmation bias is what leads to most doing their dough in this end of the market (blocking out any information that doesnt align with your thoughts).
Good luck and chin up. Everyone cops losses in this end of the market, be thankful you're young enough to make it back many times over.
