MSM reports on HAV/ Wanbao 'arm wrestle'. Nothing more than the ASX release but good to see the story picked up by MSM.

Some more observations:
HAV tells the world that Wanbao's exclusivity period expired on 31 March 2018. Could this be an attempt to 'smoke out' competing bids?
Saw some discussion on the AGO forum re MIN outdoing FMG on M&A. As previously posted, IMHO FMG should consider a take-over of HAV. Solves two FMG issues: its low Fe grades and lack of commodity diversification. At say $4ps, FMG would arguably pick up HAV's premium grade Fe resources and any upside associated with the 3 potential elephants for free.
Following the China trip to review the PFS, HAV announced Kalkaroo's maiden Cobalt JORC resource of 23.2kt. Negotiations over this resource may be contributing to the delay.
'If HAV management had some serious business acumen, which would be the better option?'
Pinetree may have hit the nail on the head. Play hardball!
Last month, OZL offered $444m for AVB which has less Cu and Au than Kalkaroo and no Co or Mo. In fact, Kalkaroo's ISV is almost double that of AVB!
A quiet word with fellow HAV co-founder would not go amiss either.
