Well - we already know about the cash position so it is not new today. But we couldn't be sure that this study would be going in the right direction until today. Looks to me like these interim results are a winner on reducing false positives/unnecessary interventions, and on the outcome as well.
They still need another 100 or so interventions by the sounds of things to hit their target for statistical significance. This interim result could divert extra patients to the study, and will hopefully get better over time, as the intervention/non intervention decision plays out for the patients.
