the relevance depends on holding sizes i guess, unless they are sitting on 10m+ shares, then maybe not influencing whether they hit 50% or not. Personally i would have thought hanking would have canvassed at least a few of the large holders to see if the offer had a chance, surely?
pertinent question i think is, do you want to be a minority shareholder once they get control? here to make money, not take moral stands
