Can we be clear here :
1. if you accept the offer - you receive 5.7 c , 21 days after 20/04
2. When 50 % + FIRB is reached - the bid goes unconditional.
it is a compulsory aquisition at 5.7 c ??
or, can you hold out ??
3. Let's say HK receive only 60% acceptance what then ? ?
to those left - who to sell to ?
and why would anyone pay more ?...to be a minority shareholder ??
Near as I can work this out it's a done deal.....and the rate is fixed whether we like it or not.
If it is any consolation for reluctant shareholders - HK will profit from what you had inferred in your primary research - I guess by definition you were on the right path and perhaps with more aggressive investment could have loaded early in the year to average buy down to maximise that profit.
For those at the last stand - where's the benefit ? and why ?
