It’s a global problem BTB. I think the only reason the US Govt coughed up the extra $100 million is because they can see with an ageing population, it’s only going to get worse & more of a burden on Govt funding. Same in Australia. We need to remember though, a lot of these people have payed taxes all their lives, they deserve the best of care. It’s not about the money, it’s about improving lives & health far b4 dialysis & hence taking the burden off both patients & health services.
