I readily admit that your knowledge of the science is deeper than mine and I wouldn't presume to argue you with you

On the flip side, however, your understanding of the workings of financial markets is rudimentary at best and you make some some sweeping ( and false statements) which bear this out

No need to patronise me...I read the announcements and when executives of listed companies say they are '' in discussions'' with parties, it is a throwaway line with absolutely no value whatsoever until a deal is signed. it simply means they have had some kind of contact with someone in a related field......companies do it thousands of times a day...it means squat so don't offer it an an argument in favour of progress being made

You don't know what shareholders would accept in a buy-out offer and you don't know what the Board would recommend so to say '' it's not an option'' is simply your opinion

Again, a sweeping statement based on nothing. You have no idea who is on the share and people sell for all sorts of reasons In fact, it's precisely that type of investor ( the retail one) who is prone to dump stock for a small profit, and not the institutional investors....that is why we need them on the register. ( Not sure why you used IMU as an example...it just a hit a 52 week high today while DXB hovers at all time lows)

Don't make the mistake of thinking that you can talk for everyone and that they would necessarily share your views on what constitutes value..each has his own strategy and opinion
