Thanks Clocker, it was always going to come to this, although in Silex's case, the ball is in our court, I don't think anybody here now would say the tech doesn't work, because it obviously does, the big thing in our favour is that we have money in the bank and also another technology that looks as if it will pay us royalties.
It is my belief that this term sheet thing is meant to drain us of money, and yes if that does happen then we go broke, but I really do think the ball is in our court, GEH have stalled for a long time now, but that was a double edged sword for them I believe, because it gave us more time to perfect other aspects of the laser separation I believe?
Other countries have seen what GLE were working on.
I just hope MG is fully aware of how the US works? I am sure he is, he is no dill.
Rather than lay it all on the line hoping they (the US) don't screw us, I would much rather MG tell the US that Silex are walking away and taking their tech with them and it is open to bidders for purchase, either fully or where they get to own the technology for themselves but we get royalties from the enrichment/separation process, similar to the deal with GEH/GLE.
If there was one country in the world that particularly need this technology it would have to be the US, if they want the tech then they should either put up or shut up, because it is my belief that others will certainly want it, so long as they were aligned with Australia and were allies then I don't really see a problem if the Yanks don't want to pay for it?
My son rang me today and asked if we should sell Silex, I said no way, the price that they are now at would be roughly what Silex should get and possibly more from their IQE stuff.
Thanks Clocker, it was always going to come to this, although in...
