Weather-wise, March to May on the Gold Coast is normally the wet season, so why the powers-that-be chose April is a mystery to me. It looks like that they will get away with it though as cyclone Iris is prevented from coming down the coast by a big stationary anti-cyclone high sitting over Vic, NSW and sth Q. Otherwise it would be wet, windy and wet, windy etc.
I'm enjoying reading the Westaussie- Pfuzzy exchanges. It's exchanges like this that educate; also clarify one's thinking on the important issues.
