I tend to agree that ASB is in a good spot with the US FF program. The overseas competitors seem far too expensive for the current budgeted pricetag of US$950, the Huntington Ingalls offering is inadequate on a number of fronts and I think the Independence class stacks up much better than the Freedom.

maybe the tax savings will offset the increased input costs (unless we have already contracted in prices from suppliers which would be great).
