Having Brendan Borg onboard as a major investor is a great bonus. Brendan is the Managing Director of another African exploration company in another renewable- in this case cobalt in Namibia- known as Celsius Resources (CLA), the SP having risen from 10c to 16c in the last few weeks (Sorry guys, they are now in a Trading halt, with a JORC resource estimate announcement happening early next week...but you can jump on board after it starts trading again!).Brendan should help keep BGS focussed & achieve a share price that reflects the huge potential that this deposit (or series of deposits) has proved to be so far.

So we can now expect by the end of April a updated Mineral Resource estimate, presumably once that meets the Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves (‘the JORC Code’) , which sets minimum standards for Public Reporting of minerals Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves.

The shortly-to-be-released Mineral Resource estimate/JORC will help all investors better understand the size of the lithium resource that BGSs looking at in the short term. That takes us one, very important step further forward.

    To date we have seen:

    - More an more lithium bands being found Main + West + Sangar I & II + west II, making an open pit mine, considered in mid 2017, more likely and viable.

    - Good results from the neighbouring Danaya and Yando seams, with drilling expected to be completed by the end of April 2018.

    - High levels of lithium being discovered - up to 2.4% in the last drilling campaign.

    - Drilling results exceeding BGS's expectations. Birimian has now identified five pegmatite zones that were not included in the previous Mineral Resource estimate.

Birimian Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Greg Walker, is equally as optimistic, stating in the last release: “We continue to expand the known resource base at Goulamina, both through the addition of new lithium-bearing pegmatite bodies and the extension of known pegmatites. The Company is excited to finalise an upgraded and expanded Mineral Resource estimate and maiden Ore Reserve statement and to see the impact of this exceptional exploration success on Project economics.”

So on the subject of success on Project economics, we have an updated Project Feasibility Study (PFS), slated to be released shortly after the Mineral Resource estimate. Now this is real progress.

The PFS will really help us in terms of understanding things like infrastructure & set-up costs; method of mining the resource (which I understand will be initially an open cut pit with underground mining further down the track. On that point the costs of mining should be considerably less than that of, say, Australia, so I'm expecting to see some relatively low costs of producing the cobalt); as well as future production estimates and $$$ returns and profitability. We will be seeing this report very soon. Bring it on!!
