You are right about the chinese. In many ways they admire and try to emulate US tech for a very long time. Look at oppo, vivo, Boss of oppo is a great admirer of Apple, he has been trying to emulate the iphone for a while now and has shares in it. Pick up an oppo and you can clearly see where he gets his influence from. Having said that, the software is the key here. They will come close, but it won't be the same still.

I don't know if you guys noticed it in one of the announcements. But china is definitely on the map in one of them. Maybe a hidden "clue" from the FBR team.
