As someone who likes to do charts and other forms of analysis I agree it doesn't predict the future at all, nothing does. It provides insight as to what might happen if all else remains neutral (no major announcements, market shakers, etc). This is exactly why when I post any kind of analysis or chart 99% of the time I make note saying this in no way represents what will happen. Even if you look at the post you quoted I said that.

@BoroBoyinoz I knew a person who was like that on another forum, he preached about charts and the moment his analysis went sideways he instantly made another chart saying "I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN LOOK AT THE CHART". Gladly I haven't gotten to the point where I shout from the heavens about charts... yet
