Hey guys, thought i'd contribute to some research to see if anyone has other information or thoughts on the matter. If anything is wrong or stupid call me out on it, this is a learning experience.

I've been doing some more research into Black Snake, Mt Cobalt and that magnetic anomaly.
Cobalt Lode, Black Snake (Mt Cobalt) 1944 Mining Journal specified "near the open-cut I collected a specimen of serpentine containing a chondrule of enstatite". This essentially means they found a large number of mineral grain (in this circumstance manganese based pyroxene silicate), the geologist noted this as interesting because recorded occurrences of this are confined to meteorites. All enstatite chondrites are mainly composed of enstatite-rich chondrules plus abundant grains of metal and sulfide minerals.
This is where it gets interesting to me.
"The cobalt lode consists of shattered and altered serpentine irregularly veined with opaline quartz and containing irregular veins and nodules of nickle, manganese, iron and cobalt. At the location where the enstatite was found he states they are "fibres of enstatite radiating from a point some distance from the centre." As far as I have researched that main point has not been found.
I'm throwing out a massive "what if" but currently the untested magnetic high is thought to be nickle sulphide (refer to link above, also their presentation says it could also be cobalt but he doesn't mention this in the interview). What if the main body of enstatite is at the location of the magnetic anomaly? This could mean rather than it being just nickle sulphide we could be sitting on cobalt/iron too. I'm more inclined to believe cobalt and nickle sulphides with no iron based on historical and ANW results.
The magnetic survey showing such a strong force along with what I've been researching has me thinking we could be sitting on very high grade metal, maybe higher than the most previous results.
Just to balance out the research I did I also came across these:
"Superficial markings of manganese and cobalt have been found at intervals over a length of 35 chains and some were investigated but did not persist in depth." Along with this news they continue to mention "the lode has no defined limits but gradually merges into barren altered serpentine." So essentially the mining area is not extremely abundant but keep in mind this place is a small portion of Mt Colbalt and my focus is on the anomaly.
As usual IMO DYOR. I'm still nowhere near as knowledgeable compared to other posters who have been with ANW for ages, all of this can and most likely is wrong. My research is my own and i'm 100% inexperienced.
