Esh, I think the ASX only get interested when you change your principal line of business, say from mining to technology and I doubt very much whether Directors have to put it before shareholders as a resolution either. In the eyes of ASX/ASIC it's like they're going from investing surplus funds from their principal business into Term Deposits or Property Development - it's all the same to them.
