I think this is an important announcement. The presentation is to the Leftist UN office in Geneva. The UN and particularly Susan Rice the former USA Ambassador to the UN, had it in for Eritrea in a big way. She launched stacked UN Committees to investigate Eritrea, that found no evidence of support for regional terrorist groups (in Somalia and South Sudan) but these committees still would not lift sanctions. The Europeans have started to take a different line of late with aid etc. The UN and the Susan Rice cabal thwarted any progress in Eritrea all during the Obama years.
Let's hope Nikki Haley the new UN ambassador to the UN changes the USA approach to Eritrea.
Seamus Cornelius is in effct trying to change deep seated anti Eritrean perceptions at the UN - which are not good for investment confidence in Eritrea.
