And according to this announcement it cannot pledge all of these shares to the takeover deal, and it appears that the number of BR clients seeking to exert control over their AVB shares appears to be fluid hence no firm number/percentage quoted.

Not really anything significant as it does not change the state of play, intentions to sell count for nothing until OZL has been able to meet the terms which make the bid unconditional.

The market is currently discounting the AVB price suggesting that they doubt the bid will be successful or that a higher bid will eventuate.
