You live in another world Coal and Gas. One that is not connected to reality.
Sadly the chart says otherwise during Branch's tenure at TTW. I don't see 8c when Branch exited. It closed at 2c the day he lost the vote after having been 1.2/1.3c for most of the previous 2 years.
However, lets not argue over semantics, as 8c and 2c is not comparing apples with apples. One is pre a capital return and one is post a capital return. Shareholders received 5c per share. Not being a shareholder you probably did not realize that.
I acknowledge the company has a few more shares on issue, which were mostly as a result of the Torrington acquisition and a 1:3 rights issue (at 3.5c). Hopefully the topaz research works out and it will pay off in spades. As it stands I think we will at least get our money back for Torrington as it can probably be mined profitably on a small scale and hence can at least be sold, but doesn't look to be a company maker from a tungsten point of view.
I am surprised Branch is still in the wilderness. A 10 fold increase in the share price in the space of just 3 months at PPY. H'mm something doesn't quite add up.
