Traditionally, Directors tended not to own shares, and the ASX once had a view that they would prefer directors not to (since modified). Personally I believe directors prove their value to shareholders by their actions as directors, not by buying stock.
But a newly minted director buying $7-8k worth. Whats the point? As a senior lawyer, CEO and Non Exec, one could reasonably assume wealth. This parcel aint gonna move the dial on that, so why bother?
