Hi guys
Just in case this helps anybody else out I looked into trading hours.
The Namibian stock exchange trades from 9 to 5 central African time
source: http://nsx.com.na/?page_id=266
Central African time is +2 hours from UTC.
As you all know the ASX trades from 10 to 4pm Sydney time which is + 10 ( unless daylight savings UTC11 ) so the Australian ASX will always be 8 or 9 hours ahead of our new Namibian friends.
So there will not be any overlap between the 2 exchanges for trading hours except for possibly an hour during daylight savings.
If your a trader or watching CLA closing I think it would pay to keep a close eye on the African trading prior to opening of the ASX particularly the first few months of listing.
Maybe this was obvious to most already but i thought there must be at least one person out there wondering the same thing.
cheers all
