Your post begs this question... why does Hotcopper exist but for users to share thoughts, information, ideas with others who will use then use this information to influence their decisions about investing?

Can you actually explain to us why you post on hotcopper?

Me personally, I love to hear opinions on hotcopper over those of a financial adviser. Often additional info is available here which influences my decision to invest. It might be an analysis, a peer comparison, or some news that is available online. It's not always positive posts. And you can quickly gauge sentiment on a stock by reading through a few threads. When researching small and micro-cap stocks, I look for anything at all to put me off buying. Could be a low cash balance, could be bad sentiment.

I have no issue admitting I use information posted on hotcopper together with ASX releases, news articles, websites etc when investing.

Again Stormer, why do you post here if you're not trying to influence the readers of your posts?
