Thanks for your response, but it misses my point.

Disc: I’ve conducted (and been involved in) several clinical trials in my career. I haven’t seen the ‘beautfiul data’ quote printed or on video.

No one, I repeat, NO ONE is allowed access to interim data unless it’s formally stated in the pre-trial set-up that an interim analysis will be performed.
If the CEO is privy to such data: which, by its very nature, is MARKET SENSITIVE, then it MUST be disclosed. Sure, she might know something (which she really shouldn’t) but she shouldn’t go ahead and make statements like that.
In the absence of a formal interim analysis, it can be inferred that the data isn’t as blinded or random as it should be.
You simply can’t have a company figure making blanket statements about ‘beautiful data’ and then not disclosing the results. A CEO makes a statement like that and it’s no surprise to see its share price run from 1.2¢ to 4¢.
    The market obviously cottoned-on quickly.
Reading her CV, she’s not been in this CEO role before. She really shouldn’t be making statements like ‘beautiful data’ and not expect the market to take heed.

It’s irresponsible, if she has in fact said it.

Anyway, it is what it is. Will see what happens.
