My view is that the announcement provided was basically what we had already presumed and had been told about CBA earlier.

The hiring of George J was a non event to me...Is the Co going to do a ASX announcement every time we employ someone.

To me the general update announcement was purely a PR fluff thing so as to soften the blow of the then later released quarterly / 1/2 yearly report.
