Fair enough but you are still missing my point entirely.
There is alot more to building a datacentre (co-lo or fully cloud hosted) than just putting up some walls, shelves are servers.
The other poster above was 100% correct in that it would cost $100s millions to even come close to the quality of the major cloud players -you are not comparing apples with apples in any way shape or form (you simply can't replicate these environments without significant spend in hardware and software).
Heating, cooling, power supply, servers, cabling, data storage, internal networking, SAN arrays, hypervisors and on...
And then the major issues - firewalling, loadbalancing, proxies in and out of the LAN, external network connectivity, routing and on and on...
And the most important - human error and compliance
And on, and on...
