    well that actually makes a lot of sense and clears things up immensely!

    so the owner of the share gets his divvy and then the shorter can sell at any time and even wait till after ex divvy and buy back for heaps less, then give the share back to the owner and tell him he's dreamin' if he wants a divvy from Mr Shorter!
