they are excellent points and i have recently heard that a third of Ozzies are under mortgage stress!
apparently, they have less than a month in reserve for mortgage payments.
i suppose we have a buffer though with our cash rate still fairly high in reserve and the CPI virtually static and wage growth zero.
my problem is that i have no doubt that this short squeeze is just temporary, but in the meantime, i can't stomach anything that's RED, even if it's just a flesh wound
