Not owning a stock does not mean one isn't interested. I looked at this a while ago when someone I know was considering a position with them.
The business as is was impossible to model from their public disclosures and looking at their cash flow statement in the last full year accounts noted an immediate red flag: receipts from customers were flat and net cash from operating activities fell, yet the dividend was increased and effectively had to be funded out of the net debt which they took out during the year.
That was enough for me, but doesn't mean that I haven't been following it in the background.
Maybe I'm unusual in this day and age, but on the stocks I hold, I relish reading negative 'downrampers' as they make me question my own investment thesis. The more they do the better - my financial investments are cold, rational decisions, not things I am emotionally attached to and dislike hearing any negative opinions about.
