Perhaps it's all just 'conjecture', but I consider it quite interesting to note, irrelevant or otherwise, that Deka appears to hold ~US$56m worth of BMS-shares (as of Jan 2018)... Source

From the  Form 603 info, Bank of Canada (NBC Global) looks to be essentially lending from MS, (via Deka, as re-purchaser), with 'collateral' (since 28 Nov 17) for VLA shares, with Deka remaining as the 'transferee' in the case of a 'margin-call', if the scenario ever played out...

Wonder if BMS (via a supportive Deka relationship), are perhaps 'positioning' themselves for a significant 'move' on VLA, hostile or otherwise..??

Hold on, whatever is going down, it's sure to be a very interesting period for VLA investors, especially us LT holders...
