Hi AccountCracker  and all BAL'ers

If one looks at the notice the holdings are split among many number of  separate legal Identities within the Macquarie Group. Then within those identities individual holdings many times again.

Bond St Custodians if my memory serves me -- Is a Trust for Superannuation Clients of the Macquarie Group.
Macquarie Management etc is a Nominee for Investment Clients of the Macquarie Group (including SMSF) - National Nominees etc etc similar situation and are separate identities... I think managed by the Macq Group.  Maybe one day I will look back over my records and untangle the web.....

The individual Clients within these Trustees/Nominees may have caused the % up/down of BAL holdings causing the Macq Group to issue a 'Holding Movement' not any action by Macquarie Group itself.

Macq Bank holds 5,3m  BAL I would look at that holding as a possible direct ownership by Macquarie ..as I do not believe there are any 'Trusts' under that name ?? I may be totally wrong!!!!!

Please do not take my figures as gospel as I read the report and am doing this post from memory.

I do note your comments - very interesting-re A2M -- wonder how that holding of Mac Group is split?

Also I do not think that Nestles action will cause much angst for BAL or A2M although the latter one- from my readings is a similar product in its contents. My belief BAL is a superior product for the 'littlies' Now that is total bias on my part.
