Please note the words "negotiating detailed off take terms" (i.e: not simply "In discussions with...") and then have a look at the definition of 'negotiating' below from Dictionary.Com:

verb (used without object), negotiated, negotiating.

to deal or bargain with another or others, as in the preparation of a treaty or contract or in preliminaries to a business deal.

This will not get smashed Monday.
