I was always staggered that the company never disclosed risks in its financials regarding uncertainty about repatriating funds to AU. It is a mandatory financial disclosure where the risk exists and personally think the accounts were misleading without presenting those material risks. One of the many issues I saw and raised on this forum a long time ago before the suspension debacle. I exited at 10c so never tried to follow the point up. Not sure how you pay a dividend to a class of equity and not pay to a large chunk. Not sure what capital controls when trying to do a buyback (assuming they aren't removed from quotation). Perhaps they could have some meaningful activities in AU, pay via transfer pricing and then use funds sent to AU to pay div. Not sure what activities could legitimately be offshores that way though...
