Shamer Sorry you have it all wrong mate and don't understand DMIRS processes. Firstly DMIRS have bent over backwards approving excess tonnage permits on granted Exploration Licences. If the bulk sampling had been carried out six -nine months ago mining leases could have been progressing and most likely granted by now with certain conditions in place on a whole raft of things which could easily have been expanded as greater knowledge of the resource parameters was acquired. You are talking to someone who has done many mining proposals -project management plans and native title agreements and given the more streamlined processes at DMIRS it is all very straightforward if you have the right tenement administrators. From memory the Nova nickel mine went from woe to go in no more than about 12 months. So please mate don't bring up some bogey man that simply does not exist. I thank you for your compliments and I agree with most things you say but I cant agree with your conclusions in respect of the way forward at Purdys and Comet Well. Its a train wreck -
You don't need a quantifiable resource because you will never get one with alluvials. End of story - I am of the opinion that the 20,000 tonne approval which has sat there never used could be expanded to 100,000 tonnes ! I have not checked MTOL but I understand Oscar Wits has a 50,000 tonne permit so come on mate that is a fair bit of dirt to get a handle on the beast and whilst that is happening various mining leases would be in place - There are no native title problems -no compensation agreement problems - I know most of the elders and nothing thus far has arisen to demonstrate any native title problems.

And if people think a few piddly little bulk samples which have taken an eternity to produce is going to give you a handle on the tonnage and grade -in amongst everything from incredibly hard drill and blast mafic materials to 1 tonne boulders and all sorts of other material compositions then they know nothing in a practical sense because it will in no way give you the foggiest idea of potential resource tonnages and grade. Radio Hill and the Gekko plant will and that is the only way these projects will be defined.
