Please correct any of this if it is wrong....as I could be. Up until about a week ago Grafex owned 20% of tritons mining interests. Grafex is owned by Mr Sheffield. Mr. Sheffield has a reputation for being a tough negotiator with Triton, and he has not allowed Grafex to give up a stake in Triton Mozambique projects if he has not got everything he is entitled to. I think he even kept a significant Triton partial payment and refused to allow Grafex to give up stake in projects related to the partial payment when Triton missed a payment deadline for remainder of agree payment for that stake. I also think that it was a disagreement about who was to pay tax to Mozambique government (Grafex or Triton) that triggered VA. Also when Triton has previously been given Sheffield shares he has dumped them on the market reducing share price. When Sheffield agreed to give up final 20% for only $1.5m this was a concern to me as I did not think he would accept this as only payment if he thought it looks like SP could dramatically rise. A theory as to why he did so was that if a Triton was to get financing then Sheffield would be responsible for matching 20% of costs (up to $20m). But the reality is he was in a position to keep holding out. So Triton needs the 20%, doesn't want to burn too much cash, and can't afford to give Sheffield shares as that would crash the SP....what can they do? Solution is to issue 13m options at 11c. If there is good news with binding agreements and financing the SP is a certainty going to be greater than 11c. Then Sheffield's options are taken up and Triton receives $1.43 mill in cash....so Triton gets cash back it expended for final 20%. For Sheffield to agree he would have to be confident that good news is coming. If not then his options are worthless. If news is good then he gets a good pay day. For example if price rises to 22c he makes $1.43m extra profit if he takes up options at 11c and then sells. If price goes to 33c then he would make $2.86m. I don't think Sheffield would have given up final stake unless he was confident. I think this one was a good move by management. My opinions only. DYOR

And lets say they get a JV for NH (the bigger part of the TON value equation), what would Mr Sheffields 10m options be worth then?
