In my opinion the key concern right now is whether they've struck the same aquifer that historically returned 500ppm lithium grades.
Observations of high pressure, high flow rate and warmer than expected temperature seem to suggest so, since none of the other 8 samples showed these characteristics.
They have created artificial brine based on those historical assays and confirmed the lithium could be extracted. Whether that would be economical depends on a lot of factors too early to disuss now.
But at least setting up the benchtop is a good step to re-verify on real brine.
I don't see any issue stating drilling will continue till Dec in this announcement - regardless of what they find in these samples they still need to keep on drilling to define a JORC needed for funding.
