It’s been a bit quiet of late so ..

Under the terms of notification of the manufacturing licence approval, Altech Malaysia has been requested to submit copies of various corporate documents, a largely administrative process, after which the formal manufacturing licence will be issued. It is currently anticipated that the formal manufacturing licence will be issued during Q-2, 2018

We’re now in Q2.
The issue of the formal manufacturing licence will:

1. Enable Altech Malaysia’s application for “Pioneer Status” (High Technology) investment incentive classification to progress
2. Allow the Company to proceed to the next stage of state and local government approvals

Imo the final financing/equity package has always been dependent on obtaining ‘Pioneer Status’.
Iggy has stated on several occasions the plan was to finalise financing by the end of Q2.
The time frames and prerequisites for these Malaysian milestones have been known and have probably been in the project plan for a while now.
I don't believe the project plan timelines are dependent on the volatility of global equity markets nor the amount of capital required, however it has allowed parallel time for the company to explore many options before deciding on the optimal finance mix.
I’m confident all things that can be done in parallel are being done in parallel.
As shareholders the major project plan tasks are only revealed as tasks are completed and announced to us.

Looking forward to an announcement over the next 2-4 weeks, that the formal manufacturing licence has been issued, ticking another box.
