Believe me, I know the feeling. I had shares in DML.

But the way this capitalism game is played is that when you are out of money, you are generally out of the game. AGO were out of money in 2016 and now the game is just about over for them.

However AGO is tailor made for MIN to utilise.
Consequently, it is unlikely that MIN will be outbid for AGO.
MIN can make good use of the AGO assets, whereas AGO is so hamstrung, it cannot use what it has.

Even the private equity vultures, who bailed out AGO in 2016, have been humbled.
The 4.5 billion 7.5 cent AGO options that the vultures acquired in the May 2016 bailout have all now expired worthless.

The vultures will probably be repaid their now written down debt, but they will not get to gorge on in-the-money options. They will straggle away from this carcass with an empty crop.

The alacrity with which the vultures have agreed to the offer from MIN demonstrates their opinion as to the scrawniness of the AGO carcass and their eagerness to depart in search of richer pickings.

But MIN is uniquely placed to make rich soup with AGO’s bones!

I know, I know, don't give up my day job.

    Cheers
