@gassed, your getting confused about the edges that are being targeted, that is regarding Olaroz, a future program, not Kachi. Now in Kachi they want to go to the centre which is better than the edges as per their April 2017 announcement.
Last year it was too wet to proceed to the centre of their target area where Li is expected to be higher. (Conversely with Olaroz, Steve claims the edges will be good under the alluvial cover where they have their large tenement).  Currently they are now drilling with the 2nd Kachi rig near the CENTRE  (6 km to the south east of previous 2 drill holes). That drilling in the central area near the large black outcrop should be almost complete. Assay results of the previous drill samples should also be available very soon but I believe  they may want to wait to release these assay results of the central drilling program as they believe it has the best results as per their old April 2017  asx announcement. Also, for those who were curious about the tenement in Olaroz being on the hills and on the alluvial cover of the salar look to the background of this image to get an idea of what it looks like (west of the Orocobre facility).  Just zoom in to the background.
