Good Morning and Welcome to the XJO Wednesday Thread


The XJO eventually closed flat on Tuesday, after initially grinding higher during the morning.
Spread narrowed, volume increased, and the close was poor, which suggests supply is being drawn out, and is making it difficult to maintain a rally.  This leaves some questions.....does the market want to absorb this supply, or attempt to shake it out, or join in and take the whole thing down.   With potential strength in the recent background, I lean towards absorption (or perhaps a shakeout).  It won't be too long to find out.....so firstly we wait to see if there is any downside follow through in response....or not.
