Every now and again, imo, CEOs and MDs unintentionally leak information (which they probably don't think is material enough to be the subject of an ASX announcement) that they have not formerly or formally placed in the public domain. One recent example comes to mind, you might recall pfeifer, is where the timeframe for the CYP cymerus process of 45 days was included on a graphic that (so far as I'm aware - and I think I've seen most CYP announcements) was only available (in detail) as a paid for article.
There was other good material in that article btw, which I'd be interested in discussing with you sometime, but because it is not public domain I'd pretty much have to discuss it only offline as others won't have read it - which rankles because some very worthy contributors and insights can come from those who through youth or circumstances may not have the money to join the conversation. Deserving learners (who could become teachers in turn) sometimes miss out.
I wish CEOs and MD wouldn't give better briefings to paysites than to non paysites but unfortunately sometimes it seems they are going to. Which means as shareholders we either risk missing info or we have to pay sometimes for stuff that has no value and wastes our time. It's like an old school tie network except they possibly don't even know they are doing it.
Koehler knows stuff about finance, you know stuff about finance - I better go and hear the interview - there has been a bit of ramping by long termers on CYP of late and they may have got DTers in who are now taking profits or oppies might be being converted bringing the price direction in the opposite direction to likely newsflow and fundamentals, imo.
